Shortly after the conclusion of festival, the Michigan Festivals & Events Association holds its annual conference complete with workshops, networking, and annual awards.
Two Grand Haven organizations were officially recognized for their “Best in State” events at the annual MFEA conference held November 7-10, 2014 in Lansing, Michigan. The Grand Haven Area Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized for their outstandingly creative Salmon Festival and were awarded First Place for their promotional budget category. Woo hoo!
The Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival was also honored with First Place for their family-focused 10 day event in their promotional budget category. Congrats to our friends at Coast Guard Fest!
